Police seize contraband
Mahottari police on Sunday confiscated clothes and fire crackers worth Rs 200,000 while they were being smuggled from India via various border points in the district. Mahottari police on Sunday confiscated clothes and fire crackers worth Rs 200,000 while they were being smuggled from India via various border points in the district.
DSP Khagendra Bahadur Khadka said the contraband items were seized as police had heightened vigilance at border points in view of the upcoming Dashain festival.
The contraband clothes were handed over to the District Customs Office and the fire crackers were destroyed. (RSS)
