The government on Sunday reappointed Ganga Prasad Upreti as the chancellor of Nepal Academy.

Prime Minister  KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chief patron of the academy, approved Upreti’s reappointment, as per the recommendation of a committee, led by Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari.

Prime Minister Oli also appointed Prof Jagat Prasad Upadhyay as the member secretary of the academy. (PR)
