Two persons died and another one sustained critical injuries when a mini-truck met with an accident at Pipalbhangjyang in Kamalmai Municipality-2, Sindhuli district along the BP Highway on Thursday.

The deceased have been identified as mini-truck driver Lok Bahadur Magar of Gajuri Rural Municipality-5, Dhading and his assistant Bhoj Bahadur Acharya, of Saptakoshi Municipality, Saptari.

The incident occurred when the vehicle (Ba 2 Ka 2297) heading towards east from Kathmandu fell some 30 metres down the road, police said.

Laxman Pariyar, 17, of Saptakoshi Municipality, who was seriously injured in the incident, has been taken to Dhulikhel for treatment.
