An elderly man hacked his son to death at Tikapur Municipality-8 in Kailali district on Saturday.

Krite BK, 52, died after his father Pahal Bahadur BK, 75, attacked him with an axe over a family dispute, said police.

The victim sustained deep injuries and died in course of treatment in Nepalgunj. Police said they have taken the perpetrator into custody and are preparing to file a murder case against him. (PR)
