A government committee has recommended three names for the appointment to the post of vice-chancellor of National Academy of Medical Science (NAMS), Bir Hospital.
The committee headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Upendra Yadav on Monday picked three names from the six shortlisted candidates based on their professional action plans. Dr DN Shah, Dr Dhundi Poudel and Dr Ajit Rayamajhi are candidates recommended for the NAMS vice chancellor.
Chief Specialist at the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Shusil Nath Pyakurel, and Nepal Medical Council Chairman Dr Dharma Kanta Banskota are the members of the recommendation.
Prime Minister and Chancellor KP Sharma Oli will pick a candidate from the three for the post.
