An excavator operator went missing when the construction equipment plunged into the Nilgiri stream at Annapurna Rural Municipality-4 on Sunday. The incident occurred as the excavator was constructing the access road to Nilgiri Hydropower Project.

“We have been informed on the incident. Police team will be mobilised in the area on Monday,” said DSP Bir Bahadur Budha. The incident site is near Annapurna Base Camp.
