A pedestrian died after being hit by a motorcycle along the East-West highway in Patharisanischare Municipality-2, Morang, on Saturday.
Police said 55-year-old Uddav Mote of Terhathum died in the incident. In a separate incident, 32-year-old Harish Bhatta, a constable of Armed Police Force, died in a road accident near Kaluwapur in Shuklaphanta Municipality-11, Kanchanpur on Saturday.
Bhatta was travelling on a motorcycle when he was hit by an oncoming van, police said. Seriously injured, Bhatta was referred to India from the Attariya Hospital, but he died on the way. (RSS)
