Two siblings drowned in the Ladari stream at Khairahani Municipality, Chitwan, on Monday. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Prabhu Prasad Dhakal, Karuna BK (13) and her sister Riya BK (10), of Khairahani-3, drowned while they were swimming in the rain-swollen stream. Another girl Asmita Gautam was safely rescued in the incident. Her health condition is normal now, said DSP Dhakal.
