Two persons died when a truck hit a motorcycle at Tinau Rural Municipality-3 on the Siddhartha Highway in Palpa on Sunday.

The Butwal-bound truck (Na 3 Kha 1008) hit the motorcycle (Lu 21 Pa 9680) that  was coming from the opposite direction, killing motorcyclist Madhav Kumal, 40, and his son Umesh, 19, of Mathagadhi Rural Municipality-2.

Police said the driver has been caught and his truck impounded for investigation. (PR)
