Police have arrested a man with $40,000 in Simle, Dhading.

Ananda Prasad Kalawar of Sarawal Rural Municipality-3, Nawalparasi, was held while he was trying to exchange the currency at a shop.

Police are not sure if the notes recovered from Kalawar were genuine.

Kalawar was handed over to the Department of Revenue Investigation.
