Property worth around Rs 2.5 million was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at the main market of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-6 in Sunsari district on Sunday.
The fire that broke out from the Indra Fancy Store gutted valuable good including fancy cloth items last night, according to the Area Police Office, Itahari.
The cause behind the fire is electric short-circuit.
Locals, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel doused the fire with the support of fire fighters from Itahari, Dharan, Duhabi and Biratnagar. RSS
