A 34-year-old man was killed after being hit by a falling rock at Siddhababa area in the Tansen-Butwal section of Siddhartha Highway on Friday.
Police identified the deceased as Mohan Reshmi of Rambha Rural Municipality-4. Reshmi was heading towards Butwal from Tansen.
Vehicular movement along the stretch had come to a halt after landslides on Thursday night. Travellers had to walk for two hours to reach Butwal.
The road opened for one-way traffic at noon on Friday after the Division Road Office cleared the debris. (PR)
