Police have arrested two men in an armed robbery incident in which a remittance centre employee was shot at and robbed of Rs 900,000 cash in Dhangadhi, Kailali, on Sunday.

SP Binod Ghimire of District Police Office said Nirmal Karki was robbed while he was returning to office after withdrawing the money from a bank.

Police succeeded in capturing the robbers soon after the incident.

Karki, who sustained bullet wound in his chest, was taken to Seti Zonal Hospital. (PR)
