Two people died and two others were injured when a bus and a motorcycle collided at Byas Municipality-12 in Tanahun district on Saturday evening.

Police said Rajaraj Raya and Dhiraj Chaudhary of  Parsa district died in the incident that occurred at Prithvi Highway. Raya, Chaudhary and two others were travelling in one motorcycle at the time of the accident, police said. The injured people were taken to Pokhara for treatment.

 In a separate incident, a man was killed when a jeep fell nearly 100 metres down the road in Molung Rural Muni-cipality-2, Okhaldhunga, on Sunday. Police identified the deceased as 18-year-old Rabin BK.  Nine people were injured, three of them seriously, police said. (PR)
