A team of four women journalists successfully climbed Mount Everest on Wednesday morning.
Liaison officer Gyanendra Shrestha confirmed the First Women Journalists Everest Expedition-2018 (FWJEE18) team scaled the world’s highest peak at 6 am today.
A team of women journalists Rosha Basnet (Rastriya Samachar Samiti), Kalpana Maharjan (Mega TV), Rojita Buddhacharya (NTV) and Deuralee Chamling, a freelancer, became the first Nepali women journalists team to climb Everest.
Another team member Priya Laxmi Karki of News24 abandoned her effort.
