Six people have been arrested for killing a spotted deer (Chital) in Tikapur. A team from Area Police Office Tikapur arrested the six based on a tip that a group was involved in beheading a deer in Sitapur of Tikapur Municipaity-2.
Gorakh Bahadur Singh, 32, of Sitapur, Bhakta Bahadur Thapa, 31, Ran Bahadur Thapa, 38, Padam BK, 44, Chatra Bahadur Shahi, 38, and Baju Chaudhary, 63, have been arrested.
Police said the arrested individuals have been sent to Sector Forest Office, Lamki, for further legal action.
