A person died and another sustained critical injuries when a bike they were riding on hit a parked truck in Kanchanpur on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as biker Likhram Chaudhary, 52, of Durgauli Rural Municipality-2.

The two-wheeler (Se 4 Ta 8024) hit the parked truck near Bani Bazaar of Krishnapur Municipalit2 along the Bani-Krishnapur road section of the East-West highway this morning.

Chaudhary, who was seriously injured in the incident, breathed his last during course of treatment at the Seti Zonal Hospital in Dhangadhi, the Area Police Office, Krishnapur said.

Pillion rider Prabin Chaudhary, 25, of Rajapur, Bardiya, who was injured in the incident, is undergoing treatment at the same health facility. RSS
