Man dies in Pyuthan fire
A senior citizen was killed and five homes were destroyed in a fire at Aatiodar village of Sarumarani Rural Municipality-6 in Pyuthan on Thursday. Police said 75-year-old Rewat Bahadur Thapa died in the incident. Police are investigating into the cause of the fire.bookmark

A senior citizen was killed and five homes were destroyed in a fire at Aatiodar village of Sarumarani Rural Municipality-6 in Pyuthan on Thursday.
Police said 75-year-old Rewat Bahadur Thapa died in the incident. Police are investigating into the cause of the fire.
Meanwhile, Sunsari police are trying to ascertain the identity of a burnt body recovered on Wednesday near the site where a statue of Buddha is being constructed in Dharan Sub-metropolitan City-4.
The body belongs to a man in his mid-thirties, and it is not immediately clear if he was murdered or he committed suicide. The body was taken to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for post-mortem.
