Two girls, ages 7 and 8, from Jimuwa village of Bhimdatta Municipality-10, Kanchan-pur, were raped on Monday. Police have arrested Kisan Nath, 21, based on a complaint registered by the parents of the two girls. Nath, a local rickshaw driver, had reportedly taken the girls to a forest by promising to give them Rs 50 each and raped them, said Sub-Inspector Dikardev Pant of Gaddachowki Area Police Office. Police said this is a second incident of rape reported in the district in two weeks. (PR)
