The business community closed Lahan in Siraha district on Saturday in protest of the blast at a jewellery shop.

Eight people, including a seven-year-old, were injured when an improvised explosive device went off at the jewellery shop on Friday. 

The Siraha Chamber of Commerce and Industry submitted separate memorandum to the district administration office and police demanding security and strong action against the accused.
