Dean of Lumbini Buddhist University Dr Bhadra Ratna Bajracharya passed away Saturday night. He was 72. He died of cardiac arrest in Lumbini, Rupandehi at around 1:00 am, according to the University Vice-chancellor Dr Naresh Man Bajracharya.

He is survived by his wife and two children. Dr Bajracharya had been serving as the Dean since the past five years.

He was a professor of history for around three decades with the Tribhuvan University.

Meanwhile, the University has decided to close down all its offices to mourn the demise of Dr Bajracharya.
