A 55-year-old pedestrian died after a speeding bus hit him at Bhimdatta Municipality in Kanchanpur district along the East West Highway on Wednesday night.

A 55-year-old pedestrian died after a speeding bus hit him at Bhimdatta Municipality in Kanchanpur district along the East West Highway on Wednesday night.
Police identified the deceased as 55-year-old Bir Singh Mahara of Mahakali Municipality-3 in Darchula district. DSP Gyan Bahadur Shethi said Mahara died on the spot. (PR)
