Bangladesh govt awards Nepali doc with PM Gold Medal

The Bangladesh government has awarded Nepali doctor Sandesh Panthi with the Prime Minister’s Gold Medal.
Bangladeshi PM Seikh Hasina awarded Dr Panthi, who is a specialist for diabetes, thyroid and hormone diseases, amid a special ceremony organised at the PM’s office on Sunday.
Dr Panthi had secured highest grades from the medicine faculty of the Bangladesh government run Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in 2016 while pursuing his five-year MD course on Endocrinology and Metabolism related to diabetes, thyroid and hormone diseases.
Dr Panthi is currently the specialist on thyroid and hormone disorders at Dhapasi-based Grande International Hospital.
