Man drowns in Mahakali river
A man drowned in the Mahakali river at Mahakali Municipality-4 in Darchula on Friday. Police identified the deceased Chanchal Giri, 35, of Belauri Muni-ciplaity-3.

A man drowned in the Mahakali river at Mahakali Municipality-4 in Darchula on Friday.
Police identified the deceased Chanchal Giri, 35, of Belauri Muni-ciplaity-3.
He was swept away by the currents while taking bath in the river, police said. Giri’s body was recovered 500 metres downstream. (PR)
