A collision between a bus and a truck left a person dead and 29 others injured at Harkatta in Sunawal Municipality, Nawalparasi, on Friday.
Police said the accident occurred when the bus (Lu 2 Kha 1605) en route to Butwal from Narayangadh crashed head-on into the truck (UP 83 AT 3966).
The bus driver Jiwan Kumar Adhikari of Kapilvastu died in the incident. The truck driver, who was seriously injured, was taken to Bhairahawa for treatment while the other injured were admitted to a hospital in Butwal, police said. (PR)
