Police arrested Manish Shrestha, resident of Biratnagar, in India. The accused was absconding after raping 14-year-old girl at a resort in Itahari-2, Sunsari. 

The teenage girl was raped by Jokam Limbu of Dharan and Shrestha of Biratnagar at the resort in Itahari-2 on the New Year’s Eve. Shrestha who was arrested in West Bengal was handed over to Sunsari Police on Saturday. The other accused Jokam, has already been remanded to a seven-day investigative custody by the Sunsari District Court.
