UK minister, Army chief to begin weeklong visit tomorrow

The visiting UK ministers are scheduled to hold meetings with senior officials of Nepal, the ministry added.
Lancaster will be accompanied by General Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter, the chief of the General Staff of the British Army. Apart from a meeting with Nepal Army brass, British Minister Lancaster and Gen Carter are scheduled to observe the attestation parade by new Nepali recruits of the British Army.
Minister Lancaster, who has already served as British Defence Minister, is familiar with the matters related to the Nepalis serving in the British Army who are popularly known as Gurkhas.
