Two people died on the spot after they were buried in by a landslide in Achham district on Sunday. 

The deceased have been identified as Man Singh Dhami, 40, and Hari Devi Dhami, 40, of Mellekh rural municipality-1. 

The incident took place while the duo was extracting stone slates for roofing the house of a local, Nanda Bista. Bista was also injured in the incident. 

Police have been carrying out investigation into the case.
