Security persons and civil servants killed during conflict declared martyrs

The Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, National Investigation Department personnel, civil servants and teachers who were killed in the line of duty during the armed conflict in the country have been declared as martyrs on Monday.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar today took this decision. The cabinet also decided to extend the term of the Commission on Investigation of Disappeared Persons and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission by one year each, according to government spokesperson and Communications Minister Mohan Bahadur Basnet.
Minister Basnet also shared that the meeting decided to extend the term of the High-level Education Commission by four months. RSS
