A fire that broke out at a computer shop in Golbazaar of Siraha district has gutted  property worth around Rs 10 million on Tuesday.

Golbazaar police informed that laptop, printer, router, and other computer and electronic items were reduced to  ashes when the fire broke out at Sudhir Enterprises today.

“People living near my shop called me at 1am today to inform about the fire,” said the shop owner Sudhir Sah, “Most of the equipment in my shop were the stocks demanded by rural municipality, municipality and other organisations. Now, I have lost everything.”

Sah claimed that he has lost property worth around Rs 10.5 million in the flame.

Golbazaar Area Police Inspector Rajesh Subedi said that the short circuit could be a possible reason behind the fire. He has estimated the loss of Rs 10 million.
