As many as 11 persons were injured when two jeeps carrying wedding attendants collided with each other in Baitadi district on Wednesday.

Among the injured, three are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Baitadi, and others are receiving treatment at a local health clinic, said DSP Heramba Sharma of the District Police Office, Baitadi.

The incident occurred when the jeep (Ga 1 Ja 5192) heading towards Dogadakedar from Seuda collided head on with another jeep (Sa 1 Ja 217) this afternoon.

Police said that they have arrested drivers of both the vehicles. RSS
