Vehicular movement was obstructed along Daunne section of the East-West Highway for about six hours when a truck with Indian registration number overturned on Tuesday.

There was no human casualty in the mishap, said police. The vehicle carrying clinker overturned at around 8:30am on the road and blocked the busy highway. Hundreds of vehicles were stranded following the accident. The security personnel resumed the transportation six hours after the incident.
