North Korean Ambassador to Nepal Kim Yong-hak has paid a courtesy call on CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday.
During the meeting at Maoist Centre’s party office in Paris Danda on Sunday, Ambassador Kim congratulated Dahal on his success in the recent elections. He also invited Dahal to attend the function being organised in September on the occasion of the 70th establishment day of the Korean Communist Party.
In response, Dahal expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Kim and promised to send a high-level delegation to attend the event.
Dahal also shared that the country’s two left forces—CPN-UML and Maoist Centre—were closing in on unification with an objective to give the country political stability and economic prosperity.
