A woman died after a Tata Sumo jeep hit a scooter she was riding on at Pharping on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as scooter rider Elisa Bhandari, 27, of Dakshinkali Municipality-6.
The Kathmandu bound jeep (Na 1 Ja 3375) hit the scooter (Ba 57 Pa 3078) last night.
Critically injured in the incident, Bhandari breathed her last during the course of treatment at a hospital at around 2:30 am today, police said.
Police said that they have impounded the vehicle and arrested its driver for investigation. RSS
