Two people were killed when a mini-truck met with an accident at Chautara, Sangachokgadhi Municipality-5 in Sindhupalchok district last night.
The victims are 31-year-old Sashi Kumar Lama of Thulo Pkhar, Lisankhu Pkhar rural municipality-7 and another unidentified male. Lama is the mini-truck driver.
Police said Lama died on the spot while the unidentified man died in course of treatment at the District Hospital, Chautara. The mini-truck (registration plate number Ba 4 Kha 2960) was on its way to Gidane carrying gravel when it plunged some 100 metres from the road at 12 midnight Saturday, according to police. RSS
