Indian Minister for Foreign Affairs Sushma Swaraj said India rescued seven Nepali women help captive in Mombasa, Kenya.
Swaraj tweeted about the rescue on Wednesday. She said three Indian girls were also rescued.
The girls were held captive by an organised crime syndicate that indulged in trafficking of girls who took off their passports and phones.
We have rescued three Indian girls from Kenya. The girls were victims of an organised crime syndicate that indulged in trafficking of girls. Seven Nepalese girls were also rescued. Their Passports and phones were taken and they were held captive in Mombasa. /1
