Four persons lost their lives due to common cold in Sarkeghat Rural Municipality of Humla in the past three days.
The deceased have been identified as Bhyale Karki, Khoyeya Shahi, Gorya Jaisi of Sarkeghat-7 and Shankare Rokaya of Sarkeghat-8.
According to the local Kam Bahadur Aidi, Karki, Shahi and Jaisi died Tuesday morning.
The viral disease has mostly affected children and elderly people.
There is lack of medicines and health workers in most villages of Humla.
Primary Health Post in Rahadeu Village of the Rural Municipality has been even running out of Citamol tablets.
