A man died in a truck accident at Mudabazaar of Kailali along the East-West Highway on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as truck driver Hari Prasad Chaudhary, according to Inspector Kalendra Bikram Shahi of the Area Police Office, Sadakpurbauniya, Kailali.

Driver’s assistant Anil Chaudhary of Lamahi Municipality was critically injured in the incident. He has been taken to Nepalgunj for treatment.

The incident occurred when the truck (Na 6 Kha 1990) skidded off the road and fell into a roadside drainage this morning. RSS
