A man died and another sustained critical injuries in a motorbike-tractor collision at Raypur in Siraha district along the Rajbiraj-Rupani road section on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as biker Utim Lal Mandal, 26, of Rupani Rural Municipality-2.

The two-wheeler (Sa 5 Pa 1703) collided head-on with the tractor last night, police said.

Critically injured in the incident, pillion rider Mahendra Prasad Ishar, 46, of the Rupani Rural Municipality-3 is undergoing treatment at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
