A man died in a motorbike-van collision at Bhalukhola in Shibasathakshi-10 of Jhapa district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as biker Sanam Kandangwa, 22, of Shibasathakshi-9, according to Inspector Rajesh Rai of the District Traffic Police Office.
The two-wheeler (Me 6 Pa 2333) heading towards east from west collided head-on with the van (Ba 10 Cha 9818) this morning.
Raju Dahal, 31, of Birtamod-5, his wife Anjana Dahal, 28, and Gita Karki of the same place, who were travelling in the van, were injured in the incident.
They are undergoing treatment at Birtamod-based B & C Hospital, police said. RSS
