A person riding a motorcycle was killed when a truck hit his motorcycle at Fisling in Chitwan.

The accident happened when the truck with registration number plate Na 6 Kha 9731 heading towards Kathmandu from Muglin knocked down the motorcycle (Ba 77 Pa 4269) coming from the opposite direction, the District Police Office, Chitwan said. The accident occurred on Tuesday.

Motorcyclist Mahendra Dhakal, 32, of Syangja, who was critically injured in the incident, died while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital. The truck and its driver have been impounded by police.
