A woman was killed after she got caught up on the engine belt at a rice mill at Baudhimai Municipality-5 in Rautahat district at 9 am Tuesday.

The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Rampatiya Devi Chaurasiya, spouse of Ram Babu Chaurasiya.

The incident occurred when Rampatiya was trying to feed rice grains to the mill's intake container and a piece of the clothes she was wearing got caught up on the engine's flywheel strap, the Kopawa Pipariya Area Police Office said. RSS
