Two persons died in a tractor accident in Jumla on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as tractor helpers Lalit Dharala, 17, of Talium of Chandannath Municipality-8 and Bhim Bahadur BK, 18, of Kushe Rural Municipality-7, Jajarkot, according to the District Police Office, Jumla.

Police said that the incident occurred when a tractor (Bhe 1 Ta 7386) tried to give side to another tractor coming from the opposite direction last night.

Tractor driver Ramesh Damai, however, saved his life by jumping off the vehicle. He is under police control.
