Hailstorm of Saturday night destroyed paddy crops in several places of northern Dhading.

A sudden change in weather system had triggered hailstorm in different parts of the district, including Katunje, Marpak, Netrawati and Gangajamuna rural municipalities and Nilkantha Municipality.

Narayan Shakya, chairman of Netrawati Rural Municipality said the hailstorm destroyed several acres of ready-to-harvest paddy.
