Outging deputy speaker of Parliament and Rastriaya Prajatantra Party leader Ganga Prasad Yadav has joined CPN-UML. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli welcomed Yadav to his party amid a special function at his Balkot home on Sunday.
Yadav said that he was joining the UML following differences with RPP leadership on joining the Nepali Congress-led democratic alliance. He also hailed Oli as a true patriot, a leader who can unite the people of the mountain, the Hill and the Tarai. (PR)
