The Legislature-Parliament is holding its last meeting on Saturday. According to Parliament Secretariat, the meeting will take place at 3:00 pm today after taking a group photograph of lawmakers with speaker Onsari Gharti.

Secretariat spokesperson Bharatraj Gautam said that the speaker will deliver the closing remarks after top leaders of major parties address the meeting.

Speaker Gharti will also host a farewell dinner at the Parliament building premises this evening.

As per the constitutional provision, the tenure of the Parliament ends a day before the candidates file their nomination for the House of Representatives.
