A two-day international media conference is taking place in Kathmandu starting Monday.

A two-day international media conference is taking place in Kathmandu starting Monday.
The International Conference on Promoting Freedom of Expression and Marginalized Voices in the Media will have participants, including journalists, academics and policy makers, discussing freedom of expression and inclusivity in media.
Similarly, issues like challenges of reporting in difficult environments, self-censorship, alternative media and new technologies, business interests versus editorial independence and disaster communication will also be discussed during several panel discussions.
The event is being organised by International Alert and Federation of Nepali Journalists. (PR)
