An elderly man was found drowned in a small rivulet Morang district on Wednesday. 

Nar Bahadur Bishwakarma, 62, of Lamatoli in Pathari-Sanischare in the district was identified as the deceased, according to the Easter Region Police Office, Biratnagar. 

Bishwakarma was found dead in Guheholi rivulet nearby his home and locals had informed police after they found the dead body. 

The body has been sent to the hospital for a post-mortem and further investigation into the case was underway, police said.
