A seven-year-old girl who was taken away by a leopard from Kur Benhore of Sandhikharka municipality has been found dead 13 hours after the incident.

The leopard had taken Pratikshya, the daughter of Ashok Nepali of Benhore, Sandhikharka Municipality-2 on Monday evening. The girl's body was found in the jungle at Benhore at about 8 am today.

Twelve children have fallen victims to leopard attacks in the area in a period of three years.

Chief District Office, Khim Raj Bhusal has said the Nepal Army and the Nepal Police in the district have been ordered to track down the leopard and kill it. RSS
