Nepali Congress ( NC) General Secretary Shashank Koirala has underscored the need for all the democratic forces in the country to forge unity and move ahead in unison for the greater good of the country.

At a press conference organised by Nepal Press Union, Rupandehi Chapter in Bhairahawa here on Tuesday, leader Koirala said that the NC's prime agenda was the economic prosperity of Nepal.

Koirala stressed on entering political alliance with the political parties that are coalition partners to the incumbent NC-led government in view of the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies.

Leader Koirala argued that Nepal could attain peace, prosperity and stability if the democratic forces would forge unity for the betterment of country.

He also urged the voters to elect NC in the upcoming elections. RSS
